***COVID 19 Update***
Q: "I've been vaccinated. Do I still need to wear my mask?
A: Now Optional
Thank you for doing your part and getting vaccinated! The CDC is still recommending unvaccinated people to wear masks, so we will continue to recommend the same. As a staff, we must continue to abide by MIOSHA emergency rules, which require mask-wearing, so you will continue to see the team wear masks. The lobby has been reopened and of course, as always, we ask that you do not enter the building if you are or have been sick, or exposed to anyone who has been sick or has tested positive for COVID19 within the last 14 days. If you would prefer to wait in your car prior to your appointment, please call the office upon arrival and we will notify you when your room is ready.
Q: "Is it safe to come to the dentist?"
Going to the dentist is probably one of the safest things you can do right now. Your dental provider is a highly trained health care professional who is up to date on proper care and cleaning procedures. We take your health and dental health care seriously! We have proper protection for you and our staff and are following current updated guidelines.
If you can answer "yes" to the following questions, please call us. We may ask that you reschedule your appointment:
Have you traveled out of the country or domestically to an area experiencing a COVID19 outbreak in the past 14 days?
Are you now or have you experienced any of the following symptoms: dry cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, fever over 100.4, body aches, chills with fever over the last 14 days?
Have you been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID19 in the past 14 days or is showing symptoms?
Our staff has been trained on the current COVID19 guidelines and has ample PPE. In addition to our usual high standard disinfection protocols, each operatory has a specialized air filter that cleans the air in each room every 10 minutes. Each procedure has multiple steps that ensure your safety as well as ours.
You may notice brief delays between appointments. This is due to strict sanitizing protocols between appointments. If this happens we will do our best to keep you informed. We will do our best to see you quickly and on time but the safety of our patients and our staff is our priority.
We know it's so important to try to get back to some sense of normalcy! We ask that you please have patience with us as we're all navigating this "new normal":)
Q: "Has the staff been vaccinated?"
A: We're working on it!
We are encouraging our team to get vaccinated as soon as possible and are committed to providing a safe environment for both our team and our patients.
That said, we’re continuing to wear all necessary PPE and following CDC guidance to minimize the potential for the virus to spread at our practice. Even though our team may have the ability to get vaccinated at this time, that’s not the case for many of our patients. Public health experts are cautioning that even someone who has been vaccinated could still potentially transmit the virus to others. Therefore, we are still operating under the assumption that our patients are not all vaccinated.
That means we will continue to maintain all of the same health and safety protocols that have been in place throughout the pandemic, and we’re updating our efforts whenever the CDC releases new information.
Our staff's medical information is private, so we can’t disclose anyone’s vaccination status. Please know that each team member is screened daily and as before, our office is a clean, safe environment. Please call if you have any questions.
