***COVID 19 Update***
Q: "Is it safe to come to the dentist?"
A: YES!
Going to the dentist is probably one of the safest things you can do right now. Your dental provider is a highly trained health care professional who is up to date on proper care and cleaning procedures. We take your health and dental health care seriously! We have proper protection for you and our staff and are following current updated guidelines. See below:
For the time being, you appointment may look a little different than it has in the past. To minimize patient interaction and comply with social distancing, our lobby is limited. Our reception staff may schedule your next appointment and collect co-pays remotely when possible, via text, phone or email. This minimizes contact at the front desk.
We ask that you remain in your car and either text or call the office when you arrive. A team member will come out to greet you when your room is ready, and you will be asked to wear a mask or a cloth face covering. Your temperature will be taken with a touch-less thermometer and you will be asked COVID19 screening questions. These may include:
Have you traveled out of the country or domestically to an area experiencing a COVID19 outbreak in the past 14 days?
Are you now or have you experienced any of the following symptoms: dry cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, fever over 100.4, body aches, chills with fever over the last 14 days?
Have you been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID19 in the past 14 days?
If you have questions regarding whether or not you should be seen, or if you are experiencing any health concerns, please call the office. We will be happy to discuss it with you.
Our staff has been trained on the current COVID19 guidelines and has ample PPE. In addition to our usual high standard disinfection protocols, each operatory has a specialized air filter that cleans the air in each room every 10 minutes. Each procedure has multiple steps that ensure your safety as well as ours.
This pandemic has caused a lot of fear, confusion and stress. But it has also brought to light an incredible community of people rushing in to help and we've seen an incredible amount of genuinely good humanity. We're choosing to focus on that. We know it's so important to try to get back to some sense of normalcy. We ask that you please have patience with us as we're navigating this "new normal" like everyone else. One day at a time, we'll get through this together!!
